How to apply for Mr/Miss Youth?

Using a Desktop or Laptop
To apply for Mr/Miss Youth Contest using a desktop or laptop, you have to follow this steps:
1. Register on the platform
If you haven't registered on the platform the first thing you have to do is register here or click on "REGISTER" on the navigation on the top right of the page.
Make sure you fill out all the information required properly and "accept the Terms and Conditions", and then click on "REGISTER".
You will be redirected to the profile page once the registration is complete.
2. "Login" to enter
After successfully registering, you will be redirected to a successful registration page. Click on "LOGIN" button and fill out your login credentials. You should be redirected to your profile page as soon as you have successfully logged in.
3. Upload Display Picture
On your profile page you can upload your profile pic by clicking on the profile pic icon, and then submit when you are done.

NOTE: You will only see the image uploaded after you have clicked on "SUBMIT".
4. Go to “MR/MISS YOUTH” page
You should be redirected to your profile page. If by any chance you are not on your profile page; click on "MR/MISS YOUTH" on the navigation menu on your top right...
Or, alternatively click on “ENTER MR/MISS YOUTH CONTEST” button found on your profile page.
3. Click on “ENTER”
NOTE: if you choose "alternatively..." on step 2, you won't see this step.
Scroll down below to the “Contest” section, and click on “ENTER NOW”.
4. Follow the guides
You should be on the new page for this step. Before continuing, read what is required. You can click on the links that appear in-between paragraphs or sentences for more information (NOTE: It is not necessary to click on the link, however, the information can be useful for you). After reading what's required you can "CONTINUE".
You will be redirected to check If your user details are correct or up to date. If you notice that your information is incorrect, you can click on “EDIT PROFILE” to edit before applying, otherwise, if you’re happy with it you can click on “CONTINURE REGISTERING”.

5. Update MMY profile
After continuing, you’ll be redirected to your MMY (Mr/Miss Youth) Profile. Please fill in the form and update when you’re done. Your updated details should appear on your profile afterwards.
Next, “choose file” and “upload” your photos to replace the image examples you see displayed on your profile.
6. Send Us a 60-second video
Sixty-second introduction video guide:

Greetings
e.g., “Heyy, I hope this video finds you”

Your Name & Surname and any related info if any:
e.g., “My name is Lerato Supetsa and my friends call me lira…”
-
Age
e.g., “…I am 15 years old…”
-
Your hometown/suburb and city/province:
e.g., “…and I’m from Hammanskraal, Pretoria at Gauteng Province.”
-
Your interest, hobbies and/or passion:
e.g., “…I love making art and I am passionate about drawing…”
-
Career choice/goals and why?
e.g., “…I would love to be a renowned artist so that I can share my culture and experience with the world…”
-
What made you interested in this contest or why should we consider your application?
e.g., “I chose to enter this contest so that I can be an inspiration to the youth in my hometown and I believe this contest will pave a way to do so...”

Conclusion
e.g., “I will be so grateful if I were to be accepted as a contestant for MMY… hope to here from you soon, bye!”
NOTE! You can be creative with your answers, we encourage it, so that you can stand out amongst other applicants.
Using a Smartphone
To apply for Mr/Miss Youth Contest using a smartphone, you have to follow this steps:
1. Register on the platform
If you haven't registered on the platform the first thing you have to do is register here or click on the navigation bar on the top right corner.
a navigation menu should slide from the right, go to "REGISTER" to regiter on the platform.
You will be redirected to the registration page, make sure you fill out all the information required properly and "accept the Terms and Conditions", and then click on "REGISTER".
2. "Login" to enter
After successfully registering, you will be redirected to a successful registration page. Click on "LOGIN" button and fill out your login credentials. You should be redirected to your profile page as soon as you have successfully logged in.
