Introduction

MMY (Mr/Miss Youth) is a competition (contest) that is held every year, from 2023, by SunAfri and seeks to empower and bring confidence to the youth.

Mr/Miss Youth 2023, the first season of this brilliant event, starts this year with the first main event (Prelaunch) that will be announced, followed by the official launch whose date will also be announced. From thereon, in-between leading up to the finals, various challenges and training are undergone by entrants. This is designed so that the entrants can learn various skills and gain experience, to create opportunities for them beyond the competition when it ends.

Before each competition, every year, various campaigns are held to get entrants, prepare entrants, and promote the event.

Contesting for Mr/Miss Youth

Our approach to this competition is different from the traditional approach to pageant, rather than just focusing on beauty and intellegence, we also take into account other elements such as skills and talents, where was that person in terms of growth when he/she entered, and how far that person has grown throughout the competition.

We are also aware that there is a lot of diversity all throughout, and therefore, we have no specific requirements in terms of physical attributes such as body type and height, rather, on the passion or reason why that person should be on the competition.
